Our Microneedling Technique
Collagen induction therapy with microneedling is done in one of our private procedure rooms in about 30 – 60 minutes. A local numbing cream is provided before starting the treatment. The areas of skin being treated will be cleaned before the microneedling handpiece is used to make small pricks in the skin, which stimulate new collagen growth. After the procedure, a topical treatment, like PRP or a vitamin-infused serum, can also be applied to your skin. After your treatment, you might develop mild swelling and redness for about a day; however, this should subside naturally. You will notice significant improvements in the appearance and health of your skin after around 1 – 2 months, as the elastin and collagen levels start to increase.
